RazKids Review

 

My district has a subscription to RazKids Plus and I wanted to dive in deeper to learn more about ways to support my students’ comprehension abilities. 

I found an interactive 5 day shared reading that looks like a fantastic resource to use my classroom (and future library).

Here are some of the titles that are part of the Shared Reading tab. 

The lesson plan is very detailed. Here is a couple of the first two pages of the 5 day plan. 

I like that the text is interactive and gets the kids up moving around to answer comprehension questions. Here are two samples of the questions. 

Along with the detailed lesson plan, there are resources like these vocabulary words that students could sort to match the word with the meaning. 

I will definitely be using this resource next year to help my students with their comprehension.
