Sora Review

I have been curious about the Sora app for some time now and I was excited to see all that this application offers its users. My district has this app available to us but I have not heard much about it. So it was time to explore.

Sora offers free ebooks and audiobooks for students to use in and out of school.

Some great features that Sora offers:

-Books are automatically returned on their due date so you never have to worry about late fees.

-Teachers can assign books for their students to read.

-You can change certain settings (ex. the font to make it a Dyslexia font, high contrast mode, language, etc.)

-You can link your Sora and Kindle to one another.

-When using wifi, books automatically download for offline use.

-The site is easy enough to navigate with simple tabs to use to explore ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines

-Users can create a shelf that shows the books on loan, holds, lists, and history.

-Searching through many book titles can be overwhelming. "Books you might like" is a great feature to make the search process easier.

-  There are a lot of features that Sora offers to make the experience user friendly: playback speed, zoom options, change the appearance (background colors, etc.), search within book (that did get a little tricky to navigate), and a bookmark/highlighting feature.
