Kiddle Review

 

      Kiddle is website that is designed for kids to safely search online for content while receiving kid-oriented results. The content is handpicked and checked by Kiddle editors to ensure the safety for kids. The content is written in a simple way making it easier for kids to understand. Other great features of Kiddle are the big thumbnails and large arial font. Kiddle also doesn't collect any personal data and logs are deleted every 24 hours. 

After typing in their topic, the site takes the user to kid-friendly sites options. There is a short description and image previewed making it easy for kids to decide what link they want to open. 

 After searching for turtles, Kiddle suggested a few National Geographic for Kids links. 

My first grade students like to draw while looking at images online to help them with details and Kiddle would be a safe resource for them to search for their topic. I love that I can trust that they would get results that are safe and easy to navigate.
